I allowed you to see my scars

Thinking they would make you run

We don’t have the same wounds but,

that does not mean I won’t try to understand how you feel

Thank you for trying to understand me despite how difficult I can be.

I am so lucky to have been able to end up with someone who loves me and all my flaws.

I hope you see and feel that I have put my guard down with you and have allowed myself to love you wholeheartedly.

We are whispering in circles again
We are using different words, same meanings
You ask me if this love is worth the end?

You know that I’ve been broken before
I know that you could break me more
My instinct is to run before my heart is torn

Try to hold my defenses and hide behind my walls
But when I hold onto you, I can’t help but let them fall

Please hear me that you are the most beautiful and unique soul that I have ever been able to intertwined and loved.

Cause when I say I love you more, I don’t mean I love you more than you love me.

I mean I love you more than the bad days ahead of us.

I love you more than any fight we will ever have.

I love you more than any obstacle that could ever try and come between us.

I love you, with all my scars, with all your scars.

If it wasn’t enough, then add more scars on me.
